Here's a little more detail into each cost...
Business Owners
Aside from the monthly subscription fee, there are no additional costs for business owners. Often in employee ownership transitions, part of the sale price may be paid upfront with the remaining balance paid over an agreed period (commonly referred to as deferred consideration). Full details of the commercial structure are agreed as part of the transaction.
The Business
Deferred Consideration Guarantee: The business pays a one-off fee to support the future deferred payments. This helps employee ownership transitions more viable by reducing uncertainty during the process, removing one of the blockers to EO deals. See our deferred consideration page to find out more.
Legal Fees: Most transitions use our neutral legal templates, however you may also use your own legal adviser.

This is paid on the day of transition i.e. the day the company becomes employee owned.
