Our Capital Products

Valloop Equities

In a permanent ownership model, a passive holding of equities is held side by side with the SME employees. Valloop can expect low volatility in the equity portfolio and long-term dividend and value growth.

Valloop Credit

Valloop will house various pools of capital to provide a simple debt facility to support the sale and purchase of the SME on commercial terms. Credit pools will be localised in each country, allowing local investors to benefit from local fixed-income returns. Valloop will receive a moderate margin on debt management.

SME Investor Ratings

We have designed a proprietary investment rating system - over 25 years - to standardise the due diligence process of SMEs and enable scalability.  

Continuous rating starts from the very first contact and continues to support the SME post-transition. We use six anchors to identify suitable investment opportunities. 

  • Primary (Readiness)

    We assess whether the SME meets our parameters and also whether we are both a suitable match to move forward.

  • Purpose

    We establish the SME’s and Senior Leadership’s purpose for wanting to go Employee Owned.

  • People & Teams

    It is crucial that we assess the Senior Leadership. How they work together, their motives, drivers, aspirations and goals. This all helps decide whether they are suitable for employee ownership.

  • Commercial

    The financial structure of the company is equally as important to assess. We need to ensure the company has everything it needs to thrive and be prosperous for the employees

  • Environmental, Social & Governance

    We strive to work not only with financially profitable SMEs but also with SMEs that are environmentally conscious and will assess their efforts to drive success for their region and the economy.

  • Due Diligence
