Transition costs
Once you're ready to complete, a few extra things come into play. There are some separate transaction and completion costs additional to the subscription.
Deferred Consideration Guarantee
A popular choice during employee ownership transitions is paying the value of the company over time, also known as Deferred Consideration. We offer a corporate guarantee that sits behind those payments. This is charged to the business, calculated as a percentage of the value being guaranteed.
Potential equity structures
During the process you will look at who owns what and how the company ownership is split. At this point senior employee leaders (incoming owners) may decide to put in some equity. This is an individual decision and there is no set amount, it is completely discretionary to each individual.
Transition Fee
This covers the process of the transition, including project coordination, administration and ongoing support from initial planning through to completion. It's charged to the business, and worked out as a percentage of the deal value. We'll confirm your exact rate beforehand.
